Sonjie

Hey everyone,

Have been asked to analyse one blog and I have chosen a blog called 'Sonjie' its a blog that explores the deep and meaningful side of a teenagers social life, education and family troubles. I am fascinated by how this person writes and how she describes various feelings. Each entry is exclusive to her interests and what is happening in her life, this makes me feel like im not alone in the world :)
hahahah

The layout of the blog is simple and easy to access, this is crucial to new bloggers like me :) :) :)

So good on sonjie for giving us all an interesting blog to read, I commend her on her efforts...!

Busy, Hurry, Drown...

I know it has been a month since i last published a post and you know why?
Its because typically i am struggling; drowning much preferred word. When going to university no-one warns you that trying to balance so many stuff, ie: 2 jobs, family, university with 5 subjects and all that social stuff... Thinking about it school is that much better although it is 6 hours a day mon - fri it still gives you structure, a taste of everything and a chance to achieve your best in an extremely fundamental environment. SO my advice is don't go to uni... haha im just joking, definitely go to university but on the very first day do a timetable, select days for everything that you want to do and need to do and hopefully you will have that 2 hour window of 'you' time.

What a horrible day!!!!!

FOUR LETTER

FOUR LETTER

Your soul is all-pervading,
Glimpses of love bring with it your touch.
Your radiance in the slightest glance,
Creating whirlwinds of conscience adoration.
Communal compassion connected our spirits,
It was something I could only reverie of.
Beauty weaves dreams of anticipation, and
I wished that your aroma would be near inexorably.

Perfection could not veneer change,
As a wave of bowing experiences are left to drown.
Was it this that was loved?
Or could this weld be broken by a torn mind.
Changes got the better of a heart,
It did not know its true self, or want to.

Topic : Movie

Went and saw an excellent movie last week. Across the Universe is a musical/drama. It uses music from the Beatles such as 'strawberry fields forever', 'hey jude', and 'all I need is love' & many more.
A love story set against the backdrop of the 1960s amid the turbulent years of anti-war protest, mind exploration and rock 'n roll, the film moves from the dockyards of Liverpool to Greenwich Village, from the riot-torn streets of Detroit to the killing fields of Vietnam.
The star-crossed lovers, Jude (Jim Sturgess) and Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), along with a small group of friends and musicians, are swept up into the emerging anti-war and counterculture movements, with "Dr. Robert" (Bono) and "Mr. Kite" (Eddie Izzard) as their guides.
Strong and forceful forces outside their control ultimately tear the young lovers apart, forcing Jude and Lucy – against all odds – to find their own way back to each other.

Go see it, its amazing it sweeps you up into a world of colour, music and tension.

Goodmorning......
Todays issue: Anorexia.....

Anorexia Nervosa is a type of eating disorder. Eating disorders refer to a group of illnesses where someone has a distorted view of body shape and weight and they have extreme disturbances in their eating behaviour.
Speaking to someone about your eating habits honestly and openly may be hard and it is particularly important to trust the person you are speaking with. If there is a family member you feel comfortable telling, the simplest way may be to sit down with them and just say it (e.g. 'I need to tell you something - I think I have anorexia/eating disorder).

**1 in 20 Australian women admitted to having suffered from an eating disorder while 1 in 4 individuals know someone who has an eating disorder. **

Anorexia is obviously a growing epidemic in today's society. Although the media and advertising do not promote healthy living women and men around the world should take it onto themselves to build up there self esteem and love their body. No-one has the right to tell another person what is an acceptable body weight, shape, look.

Love your body, love who you are and always remember its only your opinion that matters.
